Due to the current situation that we are facing with regards to the COVID-19 virus and Stay at Home advisories, the Planned Giving Council will be hosting a joint meeting with AFPPBC on  May 12, 2020, via Zoom video conferencing.  We have also had to adjust our speaker for this event and are happy to announce that Brian Wodar, Bernstein Private Wealth Management, will present to our group.  The presentation will be "Where to from Here: An Overview of the Global Economy and the Financial Markets in Light of the COVID-19 Crisis".  This meeting will be available exclusively for our current members at this time because of Zoom volume limits.  We hope to see you in attendance!

"Where to from Here: An Overview of the Global Economy
and the Financial Markets in Light of the COVID-19 Crisis"

How long the COVID-19 bear market lasts or how deep it becomes remains to be seen.  Much of its duration and depth will be driven by the virus, success of containment efforts, and the policy response.  Amid unprecedented uncertainty, we can be confident that bull markets are born in bear markets. With a severe downturn already priced in, data suggests we’re closer to the bottom than not.
